Helmer Stecker, born 1968. After working for tax advisors, banks, shipping companies / agents and, connected with the previously mentioned jobs, extensive travels to the Far East and the USA as well as studying business economics he devised the renewable energy sector within the Gesellschaft für Handel und Finanz mbH (GHF) in the mid-90s.
Initially he successfully established the wind energy division within the Ventotec GmbH, in the meantime he belongs to the biggest German project developers and managers. In addition to this he spent the last years in successively including all the other sectors of renewable energies into the spectrum of Ventotec’s activities.
Amongst other things Helmer Stecker has for many years been managing director of the Ventotec GmbH, the Ventotec International GmbH and the GHF Windpark Verwaltungs GmbH, the latter being responsible for the supervision of investment fund companies of several wind park projects.
Ralf Heinen, born 1969. After successfully graduating in electrical engineering with the focus of his thesis being “regenerative energies” Ralf Heinen spent a year working for a research project of the University of Applied Science in Emden investigating the impact of wind turbines on the high-voltage grid. After this he concentrated on the assessment, planning as well as the technical management of wind turbines – each in form of a separate company.
After accumulating a portfolio of renewable energy projects Ralf Heinen joined the GHF-group as a managing partner. He devised the renewable energy sector within the Gesellschaft für Handel und Finanz mbH (GHF) in the mid-90s. Initially establishing the wind energy division he successively supplemented it with the divisions for off-shore, solar, geothermal energy and bio energy.
Ralf Heinen has, amongst other things, for many years been managing director of the Ventotec GmbH and the Ventotec International GmbH.
